I believe that God and the amazing support that I received from the natural hair community is what has helped me the most in my natural hair journey. God taught me how to love myself unconditionally regardless of how my hair looks, and now I love my hair too!! Also, I have so many natural friends who share tips, encouragement, and testimonies with each other, and its all about helping each other to stay confident in ourselves and our decision to go natural. If you are considering going natural, the first thing you should do is build a support system! Thank you to each and every one of you who are a part of my support system! Love you all!
People ask me all the time how my hair has grown so fast, and I can only credit a healthy maintenance/regimen. When it comes to what I put in my natural hair, I have one rule: totally natural. I only use non-sulfate shampoos and 100% oils and butters. I use minimal heat and trim my hair regularly.
